Well yesterday was the start of it all. Jared started school and I started work. After all of the anticipation... it really wasn't so bad. Actually it was a pretty great day. The kids that I am watching are great little kids and Jared was able to come home for lunch! Jared said that his first day went really well, even though it was really long. (8am-7pm) Now that we are all settled in our new apartment it is finally starting to feel like home. I think this is one of those apartments that we will tell our kids about. Kind of like the one that my parents told me about, the one they had with the green carpet that flooded. We have no dining room. Which wouldn't really be a big deal except there really is no place for a table. We ended up having to put it almost directly in front of our fridge. Super convenient. It also kind of blocks the front door. Awesome! Also we don't have any silverware drawers, so our silverware is in a container on the top of our microwave. We also have a limited amount of cabinets, so we had to use our hall closet for pots, pans, dishes, tupperware, bottles, etc. All in all its a pretty great apartment. No real complaints because we have a dishwasher AND washer and dryer!!! So it's all good. We love it here in Forest Grove and are looking forward to all good things to come.
